From the President, Chris Reed

I am proud to serve as this year’s Lions Club President. The League City Lions Club is the oldest and most prestigious community oriented club the area.

The League City Lions Club was founded in 1952, 17 years before League City was incorporated, and we have made a difference in the community by serving those less fortunate, particularly children. Lions Club is an international organization whose mission is to prevent blindness and support children with juvenile diabetes. .

I am longtime resident of League City, former League City police officer, and current League City Administrator. I have been involved in numerous community organizations, and have had the good fortune of working with some of our most dedicated community leaders/volunteers.

If you would like to join the Lions Club contact the Membership Director through this website for an application. The club meets for lunch on the first and third Tuesdays of each month and attendance is not mandatory. The motto of the League City Lions Club is “We Serve” and it is my honor to be the president of an organization that does so much for our community and our children.
